These high-quality, jumbo-sized wool wax
daubers are designed for wax application over holes containing mushroom
plugs and/or sawdust spawn in inoculated logs. (They're also great for
soaking up any wax drips!)
If inoculating logs in fall and applying wax in temps below 50 degrees F, daubers and wax will harden quickly. Therefore, we recommend a plugged-in crock pot (vs. a pot taken from the stove) for dipping.
